Origin of the earth, the ancient seas and their changing shorelines, the continents and mountains, and the evolution of life on earth as seen in the fossil record. Laboratory work includes the study of important rocks and fossils, the interpretation of geologic maps, and the construction sections and maps. PREREQ: Completion of the College requirement in mathematics.
