Comparative aspects of cellular and organ physiology, the evolutionary basis for development of homeostatic mechanisms, and structure-function correlation within the animal kingdom. Laboratory work includes the use of modern techniques to elucidate and illustrate the principles discussed in the lectures. PREREQ: Two additional BIO courses and CHE 234-235.
