Description:

This course prepares the dental hygiene student to make the transition from an educational setting to private practice. Focus is on applying, synthesizing, and transferring clinical and didactic knowledge to clinical and ethical decision-making. Students will be engaged in problem-based case studies, application of motivational theories, and analysis of evidence-based research. Prerequisites: DHYG 3230, 3300 and 3350 or concurrent enrollment.
