Topics include machine arithmetic, analysis of rounding error, solution methods for linear systems and nonlinear equations, interpolations, numerical differentiation and numerical solution of differential equations. Includes some programming. Prerequisites: grade of C or better in COSC 1010, MATH 2310, and either MATH 2250 or 3310.
