Explores women's physiologic and psychologic development and influences of patriarchal society upon interpretation of what constitutes normalcy across the female life cycle. Historical, cultural and contemporary attitudes of the health care system and women's perspectives on menstruation, childbearing, breastfeeding and menopause will be evaluated.
