The study of the effects of external forces acting on stationary rigid bodies in equilibrium. Vector algebra is used to study two and three dimensional systems of forces. Trusses, frames and machines, shear and moment in beams, friction, centroids, moments of inertia, and mass moments of inertia are discussed. Credits: 3 Prerequisites: P, MATH 123, PHYS 211.
