Individual flight instruction for the FAA Private Pilot Certificate. Topics include aircraft preflight, weather briefings, basic flight maneuvers, and basic flight regulations. Students will complete, under the supervision of SDSU flight instructors, Stage 2 requirements of the Private Pilot Syllabus as a requirement for course completion. Instructor consent is required for enrollment. Additional fees apply for aircraft rental and flight instruction Credits: 2 Corequisites: Corequisite course AVIA 270.
