To include developmental considerations, family theories, sociocultural factors, agerelated risks to health, and common childhood health problems. Emphasis on the nurse advocacy role in individual, family based, and societal issues of child health. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all courses in the first five semesters of the B.S.N. curriculum pattern or consent of the Dean of the College of Nursing. Corequisite: NURB 3221.
