Provides the nursing student with foundational knowledge of selected alterations in body functions which result in changes in health status. Prototype pathophysiologic processes are introduced. Prerequisite: Must meet eligibility requirements for application to clinical nursing courses including completion of the first three semesters of the B.S.N. curriculum pattern, 2.7 GPA in courses required for the B.S.N. degree or consent of the Dean of the College of Nursing. Enrollment in this course does not guarantee enrollment in clinical nursing courses.
