This course is designed to provide students with a fundamental understanding of immune responses. Topics covered include the cells and tissues of the innate and acquired immune systems, antibody production, lymphocyte activation and specificity, and immune effector functions. Prerequisites: BIOL 2060-2061, 3250-3251. Co-requisite: BIOL 4191. BIOL 3270-3271 strongly recommended but not required.
