3 credits This class involves detailed study of educational theories and their application to the secondary school environment. Development of lesson objectives and overall lesson plans for implementation of the secondary school curriculum is emphasized. Reflection on student classroom experiences is an integral part of class discussions. Field Experience hours required. Pre-requisite(s): EDU 250, Admission to the Teacher Preparation Program, completion of at least half of content major requirements. (Formerly CI 350)
