BIO 484 - Undergraduate Teaching in Biology

Designed for students interested in teaching in the life sciences, especially students working towards teaching certification. The course provides students with the opportunity to learn and apply teaching techniques in the classroom under the direct supervision of a faculty member. Teaching experiences are arranged individually with a faculty member. (A maximum of 3 credit hours total from BIO 483, 484, 491, 492, 493 and 494 may be used toward the minimum requirements for the biology major or minor.) Prerequisite: junior or senior standing as a major within the College of Science and permission of the instructor and academic advisor.
