A studio art education course emphasizing visual learning in all curricular areas of the elementary classroom. This course provides prospective elementary classroom teachers, early childhood educators, and special education teachers with the necessary art making skills in a variety of media and techniques. Class sessions include demonstration, experimentation, and manipulation of materials and techniques leading to reflective decision- making as well as critical assessment of finished work. Six hours per week. Prerequisite: EDU 103 or permission of the instructor.
