Research projects arranged individually with faculty members who agree to direct the research. A written plan of research must be filed with the chair within two weeks of the beginning of the semester. Normally restricted to juniors and seniors. (A maximum of three credit hours total from BIO 483, 484, and BIO 491, 492, 493 and 494 may be used toward the minimum requirements for the biology major or minor.) (Available year round)
