AGR 106 - Beginning Stock Seat Equitation

Designed for beginner riders in their first or second year of riding and for riders that are considered safe to ride an unfamiliar horse in a group at a lope. Emphasis is placed on developing a competent well-rounded stock seat rider with proper stock seat equitation skills. Weekend participation in Intercollegiate Horse Show Association horse shows is mandatory. Participation in weekend riding clinics is expected. Prerequisite: AGR 101 and approval of instructor.
