This is an experiential course for students interested in applying field techniques for GPS and GIS mapping. Field projects are generally contracted projects for other State, Federal, and /or private agencies. Students have an opportunity in this course to apply classroom theory and hands on technological applications while under the supervision of trained professionals. OER 2830 is offered every fall; OER 2820 is a spring semester option which is primarily for transfer and pre-approved projects. Prerequisites & Notes The prerequisites are sophomore standing and permission. There is a lab fee. This course is offered every semester. Credits: 4
