This course provides an orientation to the process and policy of laws and ethical issues that govern the management of natural resources. This course includes topics such as multiple-use of private and public lands, balancing conservation and preservation practices and policy, and a cross discipline examination of ideas, beliefs, values, and actions regarding environmental policies, laws and practices. This upper-level course requires a basic understanding of and ability to report applied research, data collection techniques and methodologies. Prerequisites & Notes The prerequisite is junior standing or permission. This course is offered every fall. Credits: 3
