This course will provide a systemic perspective of the human services field by exploring how organizations and communities function and change.? Particular emphasis will be on developing advocacy and activism skills.? The class will partner with a community agency in a service-learning project in order to apply macro skills in practice. Prerequisites & Notes The prerequisites?are PSY 2270 and junior standing, or permission.? PSY 2811 and PSY 2812 are strongly recommended as prerequisites.? This course is offered every semester.
