In this course students will be provided with an in-depth look at the creation of children's picture books. Students will learn concepts of visual story telling including character development, visual timing, and book layout. Students will continue to develop drawing skills, their own illustration style, and the ability to communicate visually through illustration, in traditional and/or electronic media. Prerequisites & Notes The course prerequisites are DGC 2050, ART 3010, ENG 2020 and a co-requisite of DGC 3111. There is a lab fee. This course is offered every even numbered fall. Credits: 3
