This is an intensive studio course focusing on one aspect of the illustration world: reportage (onsite illustration). The class will explore drawing skills, design basics, layout, perspective, line quality, and color by practicing onsite illustrations of the surrounding landscape. This can include drawing buildings, objects, and people in order to tell a story or depict a mood. This course can be repeated once. Prerequisites & Notes The prerequisite is ART 1011. There is a lab fee. This course is offered every even-numbered summer. Credits: 3
