This course examines the interactions among humans, the Earth, and the atmosphere. Topics include the human impact on weather, climate and climate changes, tropospheric pollution, ozone, precipitation acidification, and biogeochemical cycles. Societal, health, and economic impacts of these phenomena on the human condition are also explored. Prerequisites & Notes The prerequisites?are MAT 1531,?high school physics and?sophomore standing.
