This field experience provides students an opportunity to expand their understanding of programs and curriculum for young children in a variety of early childhood settings. Students rotate through a number of different types of early childhood programs. The field work focuses on how physical space, pedagogical strategies, materials, and adult interaction influence child development. An on-campus seminar provides students with an opportunity to reflect on their experiences. Prerequisites & Notes The prerequisite is EDU 1030, but with the permission of the instructor, a student may take EDU 1030 and 2850 concurrently. Credits: 3
