[Choice:NS] General Chemistry examines such topics as atomic structure and the periodic table, chemical reactions, gases, liquids and change of state, chemical equilibrium, acids and bases, chemical bonding and molecular structure, and introductory principles of organic chemistry. The course requires a 2 1/2-hour lab per week. Prerequisites & Notes The prerequisites are high school chemistry and MAT 1410 or permission. There is a lab fee. This course is offered every fall.
