This course introduces students to research-based strategies that enhance the communication and behavior of children with autism.? Asperger's syndrome, and related pervasive developmental disorders.? Examples of such strategies are applied behavioral analysis, discrete trials, picture exchange communication, and basic sign language. Prerequisites & Notes The prerequisites are EDU 2120 and EDU 2210 or permission.? The course is offered every spring. Credits: 2
