Prerequisite: CRIM/SOC 210 and junior standing, or consent of instructor. This course will familiarize students with a wide range of correctional settings through daily travel to correctional facilities throughout Kentucky and neighboring states. The institutions include local, state, and federal correctional facilities for juveniles and adult offenders. Students will be required to integrate corrections literature with their experiential observations.
