Prerequisite: BIOL 301 or CHEM 301. Weekly laboratory sessions focusing on advanced techniques utilized in the study of biological molecules. Emphasis will be placed on methods in isolation and characterization of biological materials, density gradient ultracentrifugation, spectroscopic methods, electrophoretic techniques, chromatographic separation, radiosotopic labeling, and statistical analysis of experimental data. Equates with BIOL 693.
