3 semester credit (3 hours lecture) This course introduces the student to the principles and processes of pathophysiology and its effect on human body systems. Pathophysiology of the most common body system alterations are discussed within the context of the provider of care role. Evidence based research in the nursing of clients with body system alterations are presented. Prerequisites: Successful completion of NURS 151, NURS 152, and NURS 153.
