4 semester credit (2 hours lecture/6 hours clinical) This course provides the opportunity for the student to provide nursing care to the adult with complex health/illness needs, including those with acute health conditions. Emphasis is on clinical decision making when providing care for clients and family members with rapidly changing health conditions. Prerequisites: Successful completion of NURS 255, NURS 256, and NURS 258 and BIOL 217.
