CARP 210 - Introduction to Finish Carpentry

3 semester credits (Lec. 2, Lab 2; Fall) Introduces students to materials and methods for sheathing, exterior siding, stairs and roofi ng. The framing that was done on the building project during CARP 120 will be used to continue studies in this course. Students will apply the knowledge and skills presented during this course to enclose the structure. Students will lay out and build a simple stair system. This course also covers framing with metal studs. Co-requisite: CARP 220. Prerequisites: IT 115, IT 111, and CARP 120 or instructor's approval. Course Fee: $15.00
