4 semester credits (Lec. 3-Lab 2; Alt yrs even 2008-09; Fall) A study of the ecology and physiology of forage and range plants. Response of vegetation to grazing, climate and other environmental forces are explored. Range utilization, plant identifi cation and stocking rate exercises are components of this class. Both range and pasture crops are discussed. Prerequisite: AG 102 or BIOL 221.
