AUTO 450 - Dynamometer Testing and Computer System Data Analysis

3 semester credits (Lec. 1-Lab 4; Spring) Students in this course will use the dynamometer and other diagnostic equipment to dynamically test and analyze computer controlled emission, fuel delivery and ignition systems. Students will follow manufacturer drive cycles to see what effects that alternative fuels, additives and trouble codes have on drivability, emissions and performance. Prerequisite: AUTO 251, ATDI 383, ATDI 384. Course Fee: $20.00
