2 semester credits (Lec. 2; Alt yrs even 2008-09; Fall) This course is an exploration of issues facing rural areas and the impacts of those issues on conducting business. The focus will include agriculturally dependent cooperatives with particular emphasis given to issues most relevant to Montana. The course will incorporate the NARFI clearinghouse to conduct environmental scans and predict potential scenarios. Prerequisite: Junior standing.
