Prerequisite: REHA 201. Examines applications of Assistive Technology (AT) to maintain or increase levels of functioning and independence for individuals across the life span. The spectrum of low to high technology options in several life domain areas for children and adults with disabilities, those with chronic illness, and the aging population will be explored. Assessment, public policy, universal design, and multicultural considerations are also addressed.
