Prerequisites: POLS 101 and POLS 212, or consent of instructor. Traces the development of United States foreign policy and foreign policy institutions with emphasis on the post-World War II period. Modern foreign policy is analyzed in the context of theoretical and institutional implications. Will also deal with U.S. foreign policy towards specific areas of the world.
