Prerequisites: HADM 210, STAT 241, and upper division standing or consent of instructor. Offered ONLY Online. Provides a systematic approach to the evidence-based practice of epidemiological preventive care to promote population health. Students will learn about the traditional epidemiologic model of disease as well as various conceptual models and frameworks that are used to expand the traditional model to include communitybased networks, health care systems, and collaborative partnerships. The application of these models to health services management represents the evolution of epidemiology for use in health services management.
