Finance I focuses exclusively on fi nancial markets and instruments, and on personal fi nance with emphasis on the aspects of fi nance that every working adult is likely to be exposed to irrespective of his or her profession. Consequently, even topics in fi nancial markets and instruments are viewed from a personal fi nance/investment approach. Students are also taught how to plan for their insurance and retirement needs.
