The co-op experience requires a student to work a minimum of six weeks, during the summer or winter session, in industry for academic credit. The student will be exposed to "real life" experiences through these co-ops.He/she will gain fi rsthand knowledge of practices and technology presently being used today by the facilities professional. The co-op requires a technical report to be submitted at the conclusion of the experience. Also required is an evaluation by the supervisor. Prerequisite: Junior standing STCW: None
