Prerequisite: SPAN 221, 222, or equivalent. This course includes a study of representative works of prose from Spain and Spanish America. The content of this course will cross geographical and chronological borders. It will include works from Spain's Golden Age, the Generation of '98, and the twentieth century, as well as selected Spanish American works from the colonial period to the present day.
