Topics include: nuclear chemistry; radioactivity; naturally occurring radioactive isotopes; nuclear reactions; transuranium elements; energetics of nuclear reactions; nuclear fi ssion; effect of radiation on matter; radioactive waste disposal; nuclear physics; nuclear structure; radioactivity, decay rate/half life; nuclear stability and safety; radiation detection and applications.
