Prerequisites: NRSG 224/224L, 232/232L. Pre- or corequisite: HLTH 300/300L. Students apply concepts, principles, theories, and skills in the nursing care of well, acutely or chronically ill children and families. In hospital and community settings, students are exposed to a wide variety of clinical skills gaining beginning practice in planning and facilitating nursing care for children and their families.
