Prerequisite or corequisite: BIOL 214. Three hours laboratory. The primary goal of the laboratory course is to provide a hands-on opportunity for students to apply the terminology and concepts covered during lecture. Accordingly, physical models, dissection, computer software, and Internet resources are used as part of a problem-solving pedagogy in which collaborative learning is emphasized.
