An introduction to the use of scripting languages used for the Common Gateway Interface (CGI) for the World Wide Web. Modern Scripting languages are used. Specifi c topics covered will be environmental variables, email gateways, password gateways, fl at fi le database editors, search engines, and "html on the fl y". Pre-requisite: CS 111 or CS 116 or permission of instructor. Lab fee.
