Emphasis on whole-person nursing care of children/families experiencing developmental changes and health alterations. Nursing care of children and families is provided in a variety of culturally diverse settings including the community setting. Human functioning patterns are discussed with emphasis on the patterns of growth and development, protection, comfort/rest/activity/ mobility, and fluid/gas transport.
