Designed to assist the student in role transition from military medical technician to registered nurse. Application of the basic concepts of the nursing process and therapeutic communication skills. Use of critical reasoning skills to explore the human functioning patterns as a basis for providing wholeperson care in adult populations. Human functioning patterns of nutrition, growth and development, sensation/perception, elimination, comfort/rest/ mobility, spirituality, and fluid/gas transport are emphasized.
