Algorithms for interpolation, systems of linear equations, least squares, nonlinear equations and optimization in one and several variables. Additional topics may include ordinary differential equations, symbolic calculation and the Fast Fourier Transform. Emphasis on effective use of mathematical software, and understanding of its strengths and limitations.
