This cross-disciplinary course will focus on the multiple and changing roles of women-in the family, the workplace, and political life. Common concerns such as health care and legal status, as well as the individual needs of women in the United States will be explored along with the influence of cultural and class backgrounds. Students will investigate a range of disciplinary approaches to the study of women's lives and use these tools of analysis to reflect on their experiential knowledge of women. Not open to students who have taken WST 1101. 4 credits. N
