Twenty-five hours of observation in approved speech and hearing clinics, hospitals, schools and/or private practices. Students will be expected to keep a log of activities, submit reports of observations and cooperate with the speech-language pathologists and/or audiologists that they observe. Planned seminars will be used to discuss observations, explore opportunities in communication disorders, and to aid students in defining career goals. This course also fulfills the requirements set forth by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association for observation prior to clinical practicum. Prerequisite: SCS 368. 3 credits. FS
