This course will focus upon the strategies which are most commonly used in the middle school setting. Particular emphasis will be placed upon cooperative learning, team teaching, whole language, technology and interdisciplinary study. As part of the course requirements, students will be required to work as an interdisciplinary team. Students will also be required to spend time each week observing middle school students in an academic setting. Submission of Task Stream Portfolio is required.
