Prerequisites: None. This course is designed as an introduction to ethics to the quest for the good i.e. the search for the truth. The particular emphasis will be placed on the ethical and moral questions pertaining to the concerns and issues raised with a view to the system of public safety and criminal justice. Students will be encouraged to explore their own moral and ethical value systems as well as the codes they work from in order to cultivate an informed ethical understanding and to make sound moral and ethical judgments.
