Prerequisites: Minimum 2.0 GPA. This course introduces the students to the Martial Arts of Tae Kwon Do: the history and philosophy of the art the kicks strikes blocks stances poomse and self-defense techniques required to earn 9 and 8 gup rank certifications-yellow advance yellow and orange belt status. The student will also realize his/her legal obligations and limitations as a martial artist. The student will learn the tenants of Tae Kwon Do. The course will provide the opportunities to test and advance in rank certifications.
